Full Service Lab

MDL is a full service lab and Craig strives to build strong, genial relationships with each of the dentists he assists, joking that his personal motto is “team work makes the dream work.” Craig has found that these strong relationships are the key to a reputable laboratory and a thriving dental practice. He believes communication and case planning lead to successful, predictable, quality products and happy patients.

Fun Fact: Craig can deadlift a small car (550 lbs.).

Craig May and his wife Alicia are the Owners of Montana Dental Laboratory which they purchased in August of 2014. Craig is the head denture technician and supervisor of the denture department. Since 1998 Craig has put his heart and soul into his craft and his passion for Dental Technology shows not only in his work but the leadership he brings to his team at MDL. Craig's experience was gained at May Brother's dental Lab in Vancouver Washington where he had the opportunity to work in a full-service dental lab, honing his skills in every area of dental technology. Being a Wyoming boy he was thrilled when the opportunity came for him to get a little closer to family and not only make Montana his home but bring a full-service lab to Billings! He is passionate about Dental Technology and the relationships he has built, is building, and continues to build with the Dentists he is fortunate to work with. Craig brings with him 24 years of Dental Tech experience in both Dentures, his specialty, and crown and bridge. When Craig is not at MDL you will find him spending time with his family and doing CrossFit!
